Want to take your career to the next level, today?

Placements

In a league of its own

Education providers must do a lot more than merely provide industry relevant skills. Today more than ever before, learners need the means to be able to use the knowledge gained to transform their lives with an opportunity to earn.

That’s why we have fought the most difficult battles for students to deliver world class and unparalleled job placements in Investment Banking. It is indeed humbling to note that SIB has delivered in only a few weeks, where academic degrees from top tier universities and the most prestigious professional qualifications could not.

Think about this… Investment Banking is the most difficult and hyper competitive area to break into and our placement record (below) speaks for itself. Candidates who have successfully completed our Programs, usually get interview opportunities with leading recruiters. Our recruiter network is growing all the time and has expanded significantly in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore. At the same time, we encourage you to apply for jobs on your own as well.

Please note that we DO NOT guarantee placements

Learners must secure a minimum of 60% on all assessments to qualify for placements

So how do we deliver placements? We do much more than spruce up your CV, soft skills training and interview prep. Surely we do all this as well, but go far beyond and tap into our network to generate interview opportunities for candidates. Then you must step up, deliver your magic and make it count!

Delivering life transforming placements is what we do. It’s what we have been doing since 2007… and our track record today is truly in a league of its own.

FAQs

Simply put, the world is in the biggest job crisis of all time. Our Part Time is the only kind in the world and delivers:

Cutting edge skills on Saturday(s)
Placements (internships)

Your first step into Wall Street starts with an internship.

Though our Course is open to anyone who aspires to make a career in Investment Banking, Equity Research or Private Equity, most participants will typically be students who are at University and seek to maximise their career prospects by acquiring ‘job ready’ skills and more.

We understand that University is hectic and needs your time and attention. Our Part Time Program is run on Saturdays for 5 hours only. With better time management, career minded students should be able to focus on University studies during the week and still be able to spare 5 hours on Saturday(s). This is pretty doable.

This is an international Program for students from US, Canada, UK & Europe. Exam dates will vary for different regions and academic institutions. It is practically impossible for us to be able to come up with dates that don’t involve some clash with exam dates. As mentioned above, career minded students should be able to focus on University studies during the week and be able to set aside 5 hours on Saturday(s). This is pretty doable. But if there is a clash with exam dates, then there are a number of potential solutions:

We will share class recordings with those students who are unable to attend due to exams and students can go through these recordings at their convenience
We want to ensure that no one is left out so for those students who miss out due to exams, we can hold a couple of extra classes at a mutually convenient time to address doubts and answer questions
As a worse case, if there are a number of students who are unable to attend a particular class due to clash with exams, then we may decide not to hold classes on that particular date

To sum up, our Part Time Program runs over 20 Saturday(s). It may end up taking longer, on account of exams. Therefore, we encourage all participants to have a slightly flexible approach and be patient, as the Program may take longer than 20 Saturday(s) to complete.

Taking the first step is always the most difficult part. Though it is always our endeavour to secure a full time role, an internship is usually a stepping stone to a full time role and is a more realistic outcome.

This really varies from person to person. But all learners will be expected to work hard outside of class to review course material, in-class assignments and complete homework. Keep in mind that you’re here to upskill and be transformed, so the more dedicated you are to this cause, the greater benefits you will accrue! Of course, we’re always on your side and want to see you win.

If you are an international student and would like to explore how we could deliver for you, feel free to drop us an email. It is important you come to us with reasonable expectations and that your immigration dreams don’t rest solely on us. In spite, we will probably do more and fight harder to get you interviews than your College or University where you spent a few years and plenty of $$$.

It is also worth adding that we are no immigration experts therefore, we can’t advise you whether you are eligible to work in a particular country with a Category XYZ visa. If you tell us that you have work rights, then we believe you. The best that we can do is connect you to a recruiter in our network.

Candidates who secure 60% on assessments and complete the program successfully will be awarded a SIB completion certificate. Having said that, we encourage candidates to rise above the mind set of “collecting” certificates. What matters is that top Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Equity Research recruiters hire from SIB regularly. That in itself is the best certification there could be!
