What did you do before you joined SIB?Before joining SIB, I was a semi qualified Chartered Accountant and had completed my articleship tenure. I had also done my B. Com from Mithibai College in Mumbai University.
How did you decide to join SIB's full time investment banking course?Having chosen Investment banking as a career path, I realized I lacked the practical knowledge and skills expected from an IB Analyst. A family member recommended SIB and upon going through their website, I realized that through this course I could not only acquire key Analyst skills but also kick-start my career in Investment Banking as SIB has a very extensive network. It seemed like a perfect fit.
Do you feel you took the right decision by joining SIB?Absolutely YES! Earlier I was a bit concerned whether I would really be able to land a job in Investment Banking without an MBA. But in hindsight, having received great support and guidance from SIB, it was a very good decision.
What was the best part of training at SIB?Their pragmatic and unique approach of training was something I had never experienced before. The news discussion sessions, industry relevant curriculum and the personal attention to each student eventually enhanced my interest in Investment Banking even further. Not to forget their dedicated faculty. The most important quality of the SIB team is that they care about you and your career.
